Competitive Programs - Trampoline Gymnastics

About Trampoline Gymnastics (TG)

TG athletes perform similar skills to those in gymnastics but with greater speed and height. Leg strength, endurance, and a good air sense (being comfortable upside down and twisting in the air) are qualities found in trampolinists and tumblers.

There are four events in Trampoline Gymnastics - individual trampoline, synchronized trampoline, double mini trampoline, and power tumbling. Athletes in this sport compete in B.C. throughout the year.  Provincial level athletes can also travel throughout western Canada (B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba) to attend Western Canadian Championships. National athletes in Trampoline Gymnastics may have the opportunity to travel anywhere across Canada as well as internationally.

Trampoline Gymnastics at Club Aviva

Trampoline Gymnastics is an on-going program at Club Aviva coached by Andrew van Buuren and Kim Magdy. Club Aviva has maintained a strong program for over 5 years with many accomplishments such as Provincial, National and World Champions. Our athletes train up to 12 hours a week in order to prepare for the multiple competitions each year. Some of the events attended by Club Aviva athletes include Provincial Championships,  Western Canadian Championships, Canadian Championships and World Age Groups (W.A.G.S.), which will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia this November.

Competitive athletes in Club Aviva's TG program train in a 14,000 square foot facility featuring 4 Olympic trampolines, a Eurotramp double mini, "rod floor" power tumbling strip, and an in-ground TumblTrak. For more information check out our Facility and Program Information.
